Veronika is a Partner in Wallbrook’s Asia Pacific practice, having relocated after several years in our London office. She oversees multijurisdictional third party integrity due diligence for clients including investment and private banks, wealth and asset managers, private equity and hedge funds. Veronika also advises on many of Wallbrook’s investigations and litigation support work for law firms, having extensive experience in conducting global asset traces.

Veronika is a core member of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and human rights practice at Wallbrook, helping firms integrate anti-corruption and ESG diligence workflows, and managing supply chain tracing and human rights impact assessments. Veronika has completed a human rights impact assessment in Colombia and researched ESG issues in Ecuador and Peru.

Prior to joining Wallbrook, she was a Director at Stroz Friedberg in London. In this role, she conducted hundreds of due diligence investigations in Latin America – especially the Andean region – with her principal focus on infrastructure and hospitality investments. Veronika also worked on a large number of asset traces and investigative pieces in Central and Southern Europe, notably in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia. In addition, she managed the firm’s public relationship with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, through the tender for the bank’s due diligence services to the management of dozens of cases between 2015 and 2018.

Veronika started her career at a boutique due diligence outfit in London. As a senior analyst, she completed reports focused on know-your-client compliance, litigation support and pre-acquisition due diligence with a principal focus on Russia, Central Europe and Spain.

Veronika holds a master’s degree in Politics (European Politics and Society) from the University of Oxford, Lady Margaret Hall. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Westminster, as part of which she completed a year abroad at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia.
