Mission Statement

Wallbrook was founded to bring together exceptional people with global expertise, helping the world’s foremost organisations make ethical, compliant and informed decisions about their operations, acquisitions, disputes and partnerships anywhere in the world. We seek to be the most ethical firm in our sector, providing independent and objective information free from conflicts.

BACKGROUND

The history of the team at Wallbrook dates back to Billiter, a due diligence consultancy founded in 2007. Many of Wallbrook’s founding Partners and Directors worked together at Billiter prior to the company’s sale to US investigations firm Stroz Friedberg in 2013. They subsequently developed the Due Diligence & Strategic Research team of Stroz Friedberg into a group of over 80 professionals, and were part of the management team which oversaw the acquisition and integration of Stroz Friedberg into Aon Plc (NYSE: AON) in 2016.

In 2018, Wallbrook was established with independence and integrity as its founding principles. Operating as an incorporated partnership, Wallbrook is already one of the largest independent and wholly employee-owned due diligence firms operating worldwide.

On the Name

Wallbrook is a historical alternative spelling of Walbrook. This is an ancient river (or brook) that ran through Roman London’s defensive wall, and which since the sixteenth century has been subterranean. While the Thames is London’s river, the Wallbrook is the City of London’s river, flowing through the centre of the City, where we have been based for over a decade.
