DR RHODRI WILLIAMS

Rhodri Williams has been an adviser to Wallbrook since 2018. A former diplomat, he joined the British foreign service in 1990 and served abroad in Austria and Jordan, as well as in a wide range of UK-based senior policy roles covering Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.

From 2013 to 2025 Rhodri worked for AIG, the international insurance organisation, where his roles in New York and London included Chief of Staff and Head of International Public Policy.

He is a Visiting Professor at Strathclyde University and a member of the Faculty of the Queen Elizabeth II Academy at Chatham House. He also sits on the Advisory Board of Bolttech, a leading insurtech.

Rhodri has a first class Bachelor of Arts degree and a Doctorate of Philosophy from Oxford University where he was a Fellow and Tutor in Modern History at St Peter’s College from 1985 to 1990.
