Ben is a Partner and heads Wallbrook’s Dubai office, from where he oversees the firm’s due diligence and strategic intelligence assignments across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, as well as more widely in the Indian subcontinent and sub-Saharan Africa.
Ben previously headed the Dubai office of Stroz Friedberg, having been part of the team at Billiter who sold the company to Stroz Friedberg in 2013. Ben joined Billiter in 2012, following several years working for another intelligence consultancy in London.
Ben has extensive experience running complex investigations for multinationals, law firms and financial institutions, helping clients identify and mitigate reputational and regulatory risk in the context of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other legislation. He previously worked on the UAE’s Emiratisation initiative in Abu Dhabi, as a graduate trainee with the Anglo-Arab Organisation in London, as an intern for the United Nations in Damascus, and as a volunteer English teacher in Ecuador.
Ben holds a master’s degree in History from the University of Edinburgh and an Arabic language certificate from the University of Damascus.
